Spotted Cuscus

  • Habitat: rainforests, mangroves, paperbark, gallery forests and eucalypt forests

    Feeding and Diet: rainforest fruits, eucalyptus nectar and pollen

    Predators: dogs and cats

    Threats: habitat destruction, paralysis tick (Ixodes holocyclus), disturbance of maternity colonies, barbed wire fences and powerlines

  • life span: 17 years in captivity (unknown lifespan in the wild)
