Here is a food web of some of the animals who are currently living in the Daintree Rainforest. 

 

As you can see from this, the Daintree Rainforest has a very complex ecosystem.

 

Any changes in it would affect the whole chain. As the population of one animal decreases, its predator would also decrease in number due to lack food, while its prey would grow in number.
