Boyd's Forest Dragon

habitat: tropical rainforests

 

They camouflage in the trees to avoid predators, and generally stay in trees throughout the day, although they can move up to 100 metres on the ground 

 

They are extremely territorial animals, and are also endangered. 

 

diet: insects, inverterbrates, ants (most common prey)

 

Their predators include larger meat-eating birds and feral pigs, 

 

lifespan: 5-10 years
