habitat: rainforests, woodland savannahs, gallery forests, forest gullies, forest edges along watercourses

 

diet: large insects, large birds (turkeys, scrub fowls, frogmouths and cockatoos), herons, ducks, parrots, small marsupials, rodents and flying foxes

 

It has no recorded predators. 

 

Threats: loss of habitat, dry season wildfires
