Habitat: Ocean basins, nesting on tropical and subtropical beaches. They are found on the Daintree coastline.

 

Feeding and Diet: jellyfish, seaweed, crabs, shrimp, sponges, snails, algae and mollusks.

 

Predators: Crabs, birds and other marine animals

 

Threats: Oilspill, habitat loss, entanglement in debris
