Dingo

habitat: alpine, woodland, grassland, desert and tropical regions

 

diet: kangaroos, wallabies, rabbits, livestock (cattle), small reptiles, insects, birds and rodents, domestic animals (they are opportunistic and will eat them if needed)

 

predators: other dingoes, jackals, domestic dogs and humans

 

lifespan: up to 10 years in the wild and 13-18 years in captivity

 

known to suppress feral animals

 

can turn their head almost 360 degrees to track other animals such as birds in flight
